Emily Gordon

LVT, Hospital Administrator

Emily has worked in the veterinary field for more than 18 years with a strong background in small animal, equine and emergency medicine. Because of her passion for high quality medicine, urgent care, and her interest in developing a community-based practice for pet lovers, she co-founded Autumn Trails Veterinary Center with Dr. Cardoza.

Emily holds a degree in veterinary technology from the American Animal Hospital Association program at Cedar Valley College and is currently pursuing her certified practice manager accreditation. A native of Northern Virginia, she and her husband moved to Charlottesville in 2013 to be closer to family.

In her spare time, Emily enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. Emily’s four-legged children include two English Mastiffs and two cats.
